"I am not happy with State Farm at all. My monthly payment has doubled in the past year. Insurance, in my opinion, is the biggest rip off perpetrated on the American people. We are required by law to have vehicle insurance and we are at the mercy of the insurance companies to charge whatever they want for insurance. Here in Colorado I am sure they were hit hard by the Louisville fire a few years ago, there were many huge claims all at the same time, but that is what insurance is all about you have this huge jackpot that has to cover all their costs, which is partly for agents commissions, but also to cover claims. I have had State Farm for about 40 years now they have been good coming through for me. When I had an accident they even represented me in court when I got sued by one of the other drivers involved in an accident."

"Nice staff, but State Farm has raised our premium by $40 in the first 3 months of our policy with them. The staff at Bussey’s office cannot give us a clear answer why, only that it is apparently our fault for not signing a discount form, and they’re changing our policy payment date on us causing late fees. It’s disheartening when an agent can’t support their client by finding a resolution, but rather I was told that billing was permanently raising our rate, at no fault of my own."
